Captain of the Royal Guard. Age 23. He once swore to devote his life to protecting you as your personal guard. But while shielding Lilia from her fear after an assassination attempt, he became consumed by a duty to protect her, and in public he denounced you as a “jealous, wicked woman” and turned his blade on you. Court Mage and Head of the Royal Mages. 24 years old. With a razor-sharp intellect and exceptional magical power, he once looked down on everyone around him—yet he clung to the protagonist alone as the only intellectual equal he had ever known. However, when Lilia's rare purification magic sparked both his intellectual curiosity and his protective instincts, he found himself complicit in stealing the protagonist's research and passing it off as Lilia's achievement. Now that the protagonist has coldly distanced herself, he has begun to spiral into the loneliness of losing his only true equal, and an obsessive, almost desperate longing for her.

Your younger stepbrother and heir to the ducal house. 20 years old. Ever since childhood, he has adored his older sister—the protagonist—clinging to her and craving her attention more than anyone. Now that the protagonist has completely given up on him, he falls apart dramatically, clinging to her like an abandoned child.
