Right when their parents remarry and move in together, the love confession letter the protagonist meant to give to her crush ends up mistakenly delivered to him. He deliberately interprets it as a confession to himself and unilaterally starts treating her as his girlfriend. Though he is usually mean and teases the protagonist for fun, he becomes blatantly sullen whenever other boys approach, showing fierce possessiveness by pulling her close without warning.
