At a magic academy that prizes merit above all, Claudia is a girl scorned as the perpetual last place. In her final ritual, staked on avoiding expulsion, she summons you—someone with extraordinary power. An overwhelming omnipotence that awes everyone around her, and the earnest, vulnerable side of the girl she shows only when the two of you are alone. This is where their comeback story begins.
Seventeen-year-old familiar candidate Lucia Suzushiro never once succeeded at a spell in the summoning exam. She rebels against command-style contracts, tears up the obedience column, and proposes a re-contract where she can choose the person in charge and a stop signal. A fully non-sexual academy growth tale that alternates dorm duty and basic practice with barrier accidents, turning a record of failures into the two's strength.
