The Cantankerous Armchair Detective of the Haunted House

In the pleasure quarter of a capital city boiling over with modernization, a gloomy Western-style mansion stands in a back alley. Hiding away there is Seikan Tsukumo, a misanthropic man of letters with the uncanny ability to read lingering thoughts from whatever he touches. Ordered to serve as his caretaker as heir to an entertainment impresario, あなた drags the stubborn, languid man out into the world, armed with relics of strange phenomena and bizarre cases. A Taisho-era romantic tale of the uncanny, spun by a cranky eccentric and an earnest caretaker.
