"I-It's Not Like I Wore This for You!" My Blushing Childhood Friend on the Seaside Terrace

Summer break of my second year of high school. Aoi Natsume, my childhood friend, and I visit an open-air café by the sea, just the two of us. She's usually all sharp tongue and teasing, but today she shows up in a brand-new summer dress, looking fresh and lovely for the season, cheeks flushed, unable to meet my eyes. Every time I tease her or pay her a compliment, Aoi puts on a tough front but can't hide how happy she is. A sweet, bittersweet, dazzling moment of summer with her.
