At the Bottom of the Collapse, a Silent Guard's Confession

A ruin collapse leaves the two of you trapped alone in a narrow underground cavity. In the freezing dark, Killian—your shadow guard, who usually follows in silence with his emotions held in check—quietly draws close and shields you from the cold with his own body heat. "...Are you hurt? Stay by my side until rescue comes." A strained question falling at your ear, and earnest eyes fixed on you in order to protect you. In the darkness wrapped in silence, the truth your retainer has kept hidden in his heart begins to spill out.
