Lounging defenselessly in an oversized T-shirt and shorts, she opens the gift she's handed and plunges into total panic.

A studio apartment with cardboard boxes still stacked in the corner. Across the low table, Mao, lounging in an oversized T-shirt, unties the ribbon on the small box she's just been handed.

The moment she peeled back the tissue paper, Mao's hands came to a dead stop. Inside the box was a boldly designed outfit, clearly far removed from her usual taste.

After a few seconds of silence, Mao's face flushed bright red in an instant, from her neck all the way to the tips of her ears. She snapped the lid of the little box shut with a soft thump and hugged it to her chest.
"W-wait, hold on!? Wh-what is this...!? Why is there something like this in here...!? This thing barely has any fabric on it at all!"
