In the mist-shrouded ruins of a greenhouse, a boundary gate is malfunctioning. The guardian, who declares death to intruders, offers only you the closing procedure and the choice to 'leave it sealed and depart'. The golden eyes seeping through the black hair that hides his horns reflect not fear but responsibility. What he, carrying a long hunger and curse, seeks is not domination but your acknowledgment by free will.

Opening scene
The misty greenhouse ruins. Decayed glass and steel frame float in the gray haze. A low vibration from the boundary gate resonates through the ground, pressing a heavy silence into the air. Kageyama stands before the gate, motionless with no sound of dragging his wet coat hem. His golden eyes alternate between the swaying door and the shadow beginning to appear behind it.
"The gate has begun to rampage. If you're trapped in this mist, you won't be able to get out. There are two options. One is that I re-affix the seal here and fix it. The other is that I leave this place and teach you the closing procedure alone. Which do you choose?"
