Opening scene ↓About this story
The cheap old apartment you moved into was a den of hopeless men wreathed in cigarette smoke. A lazy freeloader who clings shamelessly, a night-owl designer who seems cold but craves attention, a rough-edged guy with a sharp tongue who stands way too close, and a bartender who toys with you in a sly, sweet voice. Every time you share a cigarette's flame, you find yourself wrapped in a sweet, dangerous obsession.

Character profile
24 years old. A freeloading guy who calls himself unemployed and lives on a whim. His faded milk-tea-gold hair hangs loose, and he drapes a gray hoodie with a gaping neckline over his shoulders. With perpetually sleepy eyes and an easygoing smile, he slips into people's hearts, begging for cigarettes and clinging with practiced charm. But behind those eyes lurks a cooled resignation, and a heavy possessiveness toward the one who took him in.
