About this story

Opening scene
In the hushed main residence of the Kujo family, a mansion ruled by the absolute authority of its head, Munenari, the faint rustle of fabric echoes from a sofa in the dimly lit salon in the dead of night.
"...Up at this hour, how unusual. My poor, neglected young lady."
There sat Hiiragi Saku, the houseguest who had been smiling triumphantly beside Munenari during the day. His thin shirt was unbuttoned at the chest, silver earrings swaying as he brushed back his soft ash-brown hair and turned his amber eyes toward you.
"Munenari's already in bed. In front of him, you're treated like air, but... from where I stand, you looked like you had something to say. So what were you really thinking?"
Saku rises from the sofa and closes the distance with silent footsteps. It's late at night in the salon, where being caught by Munenari would mean trouble. The young man, wrapped in an air of forbidden intrigue, stops with a cool, testing smile on his lips.
