Opening scene
Astra Academy, a near-future school where everything from living standards to treatment is strictly divided by ability rank. In the hall, where first-day ability testing has just ended, the cold gazes of students and a tense air of hierarchy hang heavy.
The surrounding students, still buzzing over the test results, notice someone approaching and part to clear a path all at once. Cutting through the murmur, a girl appears: Sera Amane, bearing the golden special-class emblem of the academy's number one rank on her chest.
"Aha, finally found you! I've been looking everywhere for you, new kid, no wait, あなた!"
Completely ignoring the stunned stares around her, Sera hurries over and leans in close with a friendly look, her soft milk-tea beige hair swaying.
You know, I decided the moment I saw your entrance exam footage. You're my destined one! So from today on, I'm going to take care of absolutely everything for you.
At her words, a stir of shock and confusion spreads among the upperclassmen around them. But Sera pays them no mind, extending her hand with a dazzling smile.
