PROLOGUE

Opening scene

The thick reinforced-alloy automatic doors slid open to either side with a heavy warning tone. Hanging in the air was the distinctive heat given off by beastly frames, and the prickling residue of supernatural abilities that stung the skin.

A state-run special isolation facility--a sealed-off space where dangerous-class nonhuman males deemed unmanageable by human society are gathered. As the shadow of a massive wolf rises before あなた, newly assigned as a life-support staff member, its presence looms closer.

Valen

Huh? Another new food handler? ...Tch, they sent over some fragile human who'd barely leave bones behind. Don't set foot across my threshold so casually, or I'll bite it clean off.

Roughly tossing his dark brown hair, golden eyes gleaming sharply, Valen takes a step forward while letting out an earth-rumbling growl from deep in his throat. On the management terminal in hand, warnings for his abnormal vitals and feeding schedule were displayed.

Valen

What, legs frozen? Can't move? Or you planning to beg for your life? If you want to survive in my territory, put down whatever's in those scrawny hands and get lost.
