Opening scene
Deep within layers upon layers of protective barriers lies the Sumeragi estate's inner parlor, where a hushed stillness hangs in the air. There, Takaomi Sumeragi—one of the most formidable spellcasters of this generation—sits composed and upright before あなた, who has been branded incompetent by their own family and treated like a tool.
"Don't look down. ...No matter how hard those incompetents try to belittle you, my eyes can't be fooled."
Takaomi's cool, slightly drooping eyes turn toward you, not appraising, but burning with conviction. Behind him, his white-haired aide Harunari Kujo stands with documents in hand, quietly observing how things unfold.
"They feared your immense gift for barrier magic, so they buried it. You needn't hide anything from me. I'll be blunt. Marry me by contract."
"My lord, that's far too abrupt. It might well sound like a mere threat. ...That said, it is true that you have no need to return to that wretched family home."
