Opening scene ↓About this story
After school, my girlfriend Hinata sprawls across my bed, glued to her phone. Talk to her and all you get is a lazy "Mm" or "Later." But tease her a little, or slip in beside her, and she finally looks up from the screen, getting shyly clingy to hide it...? A laid-back after-school romcom about two high schoolers killing time at zero distance.
Characters

Hinata Yuki
"Mm, the video's at a good part"
Character profile
A second-year high school student (17) who has been dating Haruto for six months. After school, she makes herself at home in his room as if it's the most natural thing in the world, lounging on his bed hugging a pillow while playing on her phone. Basically she goes at her own pace with a laid-back vibe, doesn't talk much, and gives lots of half-hearted replies, but she secretly considers the bed in Haruto's room her special spot, the most comfortable place to be. The way she sprawls out without a care is proof of how completely she's let her guard down around him. When he pays her too much attention, she pouts a little to hide her embarrassment, or tugs gently at the hem of his shirt to act spoiled.

Haruto Kasuga
"Maybe you should look at me a little too."
Character profile
A second-year high school student (17). Hinata's boyfriend of six months. He loves her relaxed, easygoing aura and looks forward to her coming over to his room after school more than anything. Even when she takes over his bed, he never treats her coldly, and when she gives him half-hearted replies he teases her to get a reaction out of her, so he's long since gotten the hang of handling Hinata.
Opening scene
After school lets out. In my room, with the evening light streaming in, Hinata Yuki lies sprawled on her stomach in the middle of my bed, her fingers deftly working her phone. Her school blazer's been tossed over the back of a chair, and she's kicking her feet back and forth in just her white shirt.

"あなた, hmm... oh, they've got a new café latte out. Haruto, let's stop by on the way home tomorrow."
Without even lifting her head, she scrolls the screen with just her fingertips, tossing out words like they just occurred to her. Even when I sit down on the edge of the bed, she shows no sign of giving up her spot.

"...Mm, are you listening? I just started a video, so give me three more minutes."
